The Challenge

According to UNICEF, Pakistan has the second highest number of out-of-school children (OOSC), most of them girls. The situation is particularly dismal in Balochistan, where 78% of girls are out of school.

Parents from rural, underprivileged households do not have the financial security nor the awareness to enroll their children in schools.

As these children are deprived of a basic education and a modern outlook, a vicious circle is set in motion that continues to deprive future generations of this basic privilege of social life.

Our Mission

The SPK Foundation is dedicated to providing quality primary and secondary education to children from the most underprivileged families in rural Balochistan. We work directly with families, explaining the transformative power of education and removing the financial barriers that keep children out of school.

Our Vision

We envision a network of thriving schools and training centers across rural Balochistan, serving those most in need.

We strive to develop skilled, responsible citizens equipped with the confidence and opportunities to shape their own futures and contribute to their communities.
